Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Utilities , Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.31%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: IBC ), which rose 6.29% or 2.35 points to trade at 39.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CSE: FBR ) added 5.47% or 15.00 points to end at 289.00 and Ste Nationale de Siderurgie SA (CSE: SID ) was up 4.74% or 110.00 points to 2,430.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Micro Data SA (CSE: MIC ), which fell 4.90% or 43.00 points to trade at 835.00 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CSE: MOX ) declined 4.22% or 19.00 points to end at 431.00 and Atlanta (CSE: ATL ) was down 2.76% or 4.00 points to 141.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 23 and 5 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ste Nationale de Siderurgie SA (CSE: SID ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.74% or 110.00 to 2,430.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.66% or 0.42 to $63.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 61.74 to trade at $3,186.06 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.65% to 10.43, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.29.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 100.61.
