Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms , Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.97% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which rose 3.25% or 14.00 points to trade at 444.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ) added 2.75% or 3.70 points to end at 138.15 and Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ) was up 2.55% or 0.89 points to 35.82 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ), which fell 5.76% or 2.70 points to trade at 44.00 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ) declined 2.49% or 0.13 points to end at 5.24 and Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ) was down 2.09% or 0.54 points to 25.25.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 384 to 375 and 73 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.38% or 1.50 to $61.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.35% or 1.55 to hit $64.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 31.21 to trade at $3,219.51 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 10.89, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.00% to 9.74.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 100.72.
