Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ), which rose 0.11% or 0.15 points to trade at 136.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ) added 0.01% or 0.10 points to end at 489.20 and Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) was down 0.31% or 2.40 points to 768.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ), which fell 2.65% or 6.80 points to trade at 250.10 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) declined 2.22% or 3.20 points to end at 141.20 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) was down 2.20% or 3.10 points to 135.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 501 to 262 and 66 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.85% or 1.90 to $68.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.61% or 1.79 to hit $70.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.41% or 46.90 to trade at $3,372.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.64% to 11.17, while USD/SEK rose 0.68% to 9.55.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 97.50.
