Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE: NKT ), which rose 1.79% or 9.50 points to trade at 540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) added 0.98% or 4.30 points to end at 443.30 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE: JYSK ) was up 0.31% or 2.00 points to 656.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE: TRYG ), which fell 3.01% or 4.90 points to trade at 158.10 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ) declined 1.52% or 1.60 points to end at 103.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ) was down 1.42% or 15.00 points to 1,039.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 42 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.59% or 1.09 to $67.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.34% or 0.94 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 9.20 to trade at $3,354.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.39, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 97.63.
